Washington Post: Police arrest three suspects in Southeast Washington taxi robberies “Two young men have been arrested and charged with robbing taxi drivers in June and July in Southeast Washington, according to authorities. Police said that the two were accompanied twice by a 16-year-old high school student who, in one holdup, was armed with a knife. Police said they are also seeking others who might have been involved.”

Washington Post: Seat Pleasant police chief is injured in motorcycle crash “Seat Pleasant Police Chief Devan Martin was hospitalized Thursday night after he was thrown from a city police motorcycle after a collision with a car in Seat Pleasant, Prince George’s County police said. The accident happened near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Glen Willow Drive about 8:20 p.m., county police officials said.
